The operator in the room

PwC

I began my career at PwC in Private Company Services, working with owner-led and closely held businesses. That grounding in how companies make and lose money has shaped everything since.

New markets

From there I spent a decade in business development and partnerships at companies creating new markets, from mobile platforms to card-linked commerce with banks and retailers. I learned how new markets form, how partnerships get built, and how to sell something customers haven’t bought before.

2015 · Barometric

In 2015 I co-founded Barometric, a SaaS measurement and analytics platform spun out of AdTheorent. As COO I wrote the initial business plan, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and operating model, and led business development, investor relations, and operations from formation through scale. When Claritas acquired the company, I stayed on to lead the post-acquisition integration and to form and run Claritas’ measurement division, embedding the platform into its enterprise offerings.

Growth stage

Since then I’ve served as the senior operating partner to CEOs and boards at growth-stage companies. At BioSymetrics, an AI-driven healthcare data company, I was President and COO, led commercialization and partnerships, managed board and investor relations, and closed a multi-million-dollar Series Seed round before continuing as a board member and senior advisor. As COO of Source Digital I put in place the operating cadence, KPIs, quarterly planning, and management reviews the company ran on. At PadSquad I led operations across client delivery, media, and creative. Most recently, as COO of Veylan, I worked with the CEO to scale an AI-native operating platform for marketers and to shape its go-to-market model.

Today

I now work directly with leadership teams, investors, and boards, in technology and well beyond it. Clients get someone who has carried the same responsibilities they carry: setting priorities, building teams, raising capital, closing and integrating deals, and answering to a board.

Board & investor experience

An operator’s view of governance

At BioSymetrics I served as President and COO and then as a board member and senior advisor, acting as the primary operating partner for board management and investor relations. I’ve also raised capital, worked alongside private equity owners, and been on both sides of an acquisition, as the founder being acquired and as the leader responsible for making the integration work.

That experience is what I bring to board and advisory roles: a clear sense of what management needs from a board, what a board should expect from management, and how to tell whether a plan can be executed.
